Job Description

  • Ensure timely dispatch of Capsules in order to meet the target as per cost, quality, delivery norms and support the required documentation procedures for export Coordinate with sales and manufacturing for preparation of daily, weekly and monthly dispatch plan and monitors execution of the plan
  • Ensure optimum use of resources for clearance and forwarding for cost effectiveness
  • Find out the economical option by comparing freight with various freight forwarder available
  • Effective coordination with various External agencies including but not limited to CHA, Shipping Lines, IATA Agents, Forwarders, Octroi Agents, DGFT Agents, Statutory Authorities such as DGFT, FDA, Customs, Banks, etc (in relation to Export Documentation & Benefits), SGS, Other Inspection Agencies, Chamber of Commerce, EIC.
  • Ensuring all Imports and Export shipments are properly insured such as Empty Container, Cargo, in coordination with Corporate Logistics
  • Establishes long term relationship with various service providers & establishes network with customs department.
  • Enables vendor evaluation periodically & improves the vendor performance
