Within the department, a dedicated Application Production Support team was created to improve quality of service, security, monitoring and reporting.Applications to be supported include Tier 1 corporate banking and finance systems, security systems, governance and compliance. Members of the team will work with a wide variety of core technologies (Windows, UNIX, Sybase, Python, C++, Shell Scripting,Autosys) and be located Mumbai. Project manager will be managing these APS teams and handling the support spread over multiple locations Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities
      • Familiar with managing rotational shifts in 24x7x365 environment.
      • Ability to engage customers independently for ongoing incidents; high level of ownership and initiative needed; needs to work independently with
      • minimal or no supervision.
      • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
      • Should be able to articulate technical concepts in documentation
      • Be single point of contact for technical escalations.
      • Coordinates with onshore teams; interface with customers, vendors and partners for issue
      • resolution.
      • Help and support BAU team for any critical incident or task
      • Support Change and Capacity Planning
      • Has certifications and formal trainings in the chosen area.
      • Defines implements, enforces standards, and understands exception handling.
      • Proposes solution alternatives, provide impact analysis for any technical changes.
      • Translates high-level objectives into low-level work modules and tasks.
      • Performs requirements gathering and design
      • Assists the Team Leads in maintaining SLA adherence.

      • Have Hands on experience in Unix , SQL, Autosys, Python, C++
    Contributing Responsibilities
    • Mainly working for LAP system and Banking applications, working with end users, business analysts and developers.
      • Consolidating existing knowledge database (Wiki)
      • Automating processes for common tasks and reporting
      • Providing input to technical designs
    • Managing issues and requests logged through Service Now and JIRA
      • Direct problem resolution or bug logging
      • Working with developers managing application/server access
    • Building expertise in other applications & technologies supported by the team.
    • Change Management
      • QA sign off for new application releases.
      • Complete the change management cycle.
    • Problem Management
      • Creating problem tickets for the recurring issues
      • Relating incidents to the respective problem tickets
      • Tracking Problem Tickets regularly
    • Incident Management
      • Managing incidents and make sure the actions are taken considering priority to manage the SLA
      • Following the agreed Incident Management Procedure
      • User Communication with respective to incident analysis and resolution
      • Tracking Incidents regularly
    Technical & Behavioral Competencies
    • Minimum 16 years of education required
    • 12 + year experience with Team management experience of 5 + years minimum
    Specific Qualifications (if required)
    • LINUX
    • Shell Scripting, Python
    • ASE/IQ Sybase
    • C++
    • ITIL V3 Foundation desirable
