Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Technology (MSWMT) strives to provide a technology platform that helps the business deliver outstanding wealth management services and a comprehensive suite of wealth management solutions to a diverse client base, which includes governments, institutions, corporations and individuals worldwide.Department profile: , * Position Overview: Play key role in Mainframe Middleware Platform Transformation: The Mainframe Integration Engineering Team is responsible for the oversite, improvement and optimization of our Wealth Management Mainframe Plant. Our main services include; Performance & Analysis, Batch & Middleware Engineering, Test Data Management, Mainframe Infra Release oversight and planning, Application Release management L3 support, Standards and Compliance.The right candidate: This position will have following responsibilities,Middleware Applications Design and Support o Look for opportunities for enhancing the middleware applicationso Support BAU activities and be proactive in support and maintenance. Incident management o Identify patterns for proactive prevention o Enable / assist in RCA o Tooling to support in prod and lower environments o Developer Automated problem identification Governance & Best Practices o Build a transparent framework of Governance Controls, Standards and Best Practices o Educate application development partners on best practices o Collaborate with Release Management and SDLC Teams to implement toll-gates Enable Mainframe Agile / Dev Ops o Integration of IDE with Vendor Tools in support of CI/CD pipeline o Update the Source Control Manager/Process (SCM) from Changeman to IBM DBB/UCD Required Experience: 5 to 9 years Skill Set: Mainframe Primary skills: Proficient skills in Mainframe technologies.- COBOL, MQ, CICS,Good understanding of following o DB2 SQL, REXX, JCL, VSAM o Modern design principles o Exposure to Agile methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office technologies Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience in mainframe programming. Good to have skills: MQ admin or MQ engineering( mainframe + Distributed)Knowledge of in one or more of the following:o Java, Python, .NET o Splunk o SQL Server Knowledge of Cloud TechnologiesKnowledge of financial technologies and business applications
