You will play an instrumental role in helping us expand access to our products by working on various innovative business models, helping us reduce the barriers and thus ensure smooth access of essential and innovative medicines for the underserved and marginalized populations across the world.Your responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Building the business case along with GH respective functions and key Divisional stake-holders facilitating the interface between countries and global function to ensure a suc-cessful implementation of the targeted portfolio Increase sustainable patient reach by improving access to primary healthcare for under-served populations across the world Apply a deep understanding of the healthcare environment - priorities, drivers, pressures and needs generated from insights and identify opportunities to co-create value solu-tions with country teams that meet the needs of Key Decision Makers such as govern-ments, NGOs and other key organizations Drive Novartis Access (NA) Portfolio definition (done for each country to select appropri-ate molecules from broader NA 2.0 portfolio) Collaborate across Divisions in the region, as well as with global functions including, Global Health, Pharma Franchise, SDZ , Oncology and Public Affairs Secure Financial feasibility (define the minimum commercially sustainable pricing) Work with HSS CoE team and country teams to drive integration of the programs for patient`s unmet needs, including innovative financing solutions such as micro-insurance, digital ordering systems and cost-sharing models. Define Go To Market Model (defining the distribution / partnership models and timing for NA Portfolio introduction) Support NA Portfolio endorsement & execution process (support countries to get en-dorsement to introduce the NA Portfolio)Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: Advanced Degree in business, economics, public health, engineering, medicine or relevant experience in Global Health innovation, innovative financing, and/or global health entrepreneurship 5+ years working in the Global Health, with a focus on community healthcare approaches Experience living and working in a low income countries. Demonstrated respect for working with diverse stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and experience in scaling programs to national level Strong experience aligning with commercial leadership and influencing without formal authority and strong experience in developing and implementing innovative social business models to improve service delivery and access to medicines in resource limited settings Strong external network and experience in Global Health Innovation and willingness to engage to rapidly build internal network if not already present Ability to harness the power of working in multicultural, interdisciplinary, and multigenerational teams to deliver breakthrough innovation Ability to effectively communicate and inspire associates to devise innovative solutions to Global Health challenges while also influencing senior leaders across the company and resilient approach to innovation, proactive and transparent about success and failures to enable innovation and learningWhy consider Sandoz Our number 1 priority is to pioneer patient access to better healthcare.
