Job Description

    We have been retained by a leading multi national company in the field of plastic packaging solutions to hire a Manager - Business Development to be based at their HO in Mumbai. Details about the position are mentioned below:
    • Company: Our client is a full service global supplier of innovative plastic packaging solutions, with a strong focus on the functionalities DISPENSING, CONTAINING and CLOSING. The company designs, develops and manufactures added value Caps, Closures, Roll-on Balls, Jars and Bottles for the Personal Care, Food, Home Care and Health Care markets. Headquartered in Netherlands, the company employs about 2000 people and has 24 facilities in 16 countries worldwide.
    • Designation: Manager - Business Development
    • Job Location: Mumbai (Western Suburbs)
    Roles and Responsibilities:
    • This is an independent role with no span of control
    • Identify new customer base in pharma category for rigid packing
    • Strong customer base
    • New product development as per the market demand / trend
    • Internal and External coordination for new product development
    • Accounts Receivables.
    • Troubleshooting and customer relation management
    • Ready to travel PAN India
    • Project Management and operation.
    • Any other job assigned by management from time to time
    Knowledge, Skills & Experience: The desired candidate needs to have
    • Knowledge on regulatory process (DMF, Class 1 lac etc)
    • Good communication, influencing and presentation skills
    • Knowledge in primary packaging / rigid packaging industries/ healthcare/ medical devices
    • 10 plus years experience in pharma industry
    • Graduate holding a formal degree from Indian Institute of Packaging
    • MBA will be an added advantage
    • Good Analytical skills
    • IT literate to include MS Office, CRM tools, ERP knowledge preferable.
