Job Description

Women professionals on a break and looking to re-start their career should apply for this role.Roles and ResponsibilitiesProject Management of Digital, Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives

  • Perform an organization scan to identify opportunities for process improvement and find new avenues where technology can bring significant benefit to the employees, customers or business as a whole.
  • Identifying automation opportunities within the organization through a selection criteria
  • Process understanding and drawing up as-is process and redesigning to-be process design
  • End to end project management including SME, PO and vendor alignment to plan
  • Define & track process metrics (measure of success parameters for the project)
Change Management
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure all the change aspects have been addressed
  • Providing technological solutions to the problems/situations arising during development phase
  • Clearing all legal and other procedural requirements for on-boarding the vendor post selection
  • Soliciting requirements for implementing the solution or conducting proof of concept from vendor and process owner and ensuring the same are met.
  • Ensuring knowledge transfer of process between vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Sustenance of the deployed solutions by following the Change management process
  • Ensuring the documentation is up to date for all projects and solutions
  • Facilitating and handling queries arising out of audits and reviews
Research
  • Identify new technologies emerging in market that meet HDFC Life s requirement
  • Benchmarking competition & non-competition markets to identify new trends that can be replicated in HDFC Life
Vendor Identification, Selection & Management
  • Short listing vendor basis defined selection criteria
  • Enable PoC & measure the PoC effectiveness
  • Administrative management for vendor onboarding (contract, billing etc.)
  • Facilitate vendor evaluation through BS&T, compliance and procurement once selected
  • Vendor Management before & after PoC to ensure output is met at all times
  • Initiating Capex /Opex procedures incase additional technological requirements arise for the project
Governance :
  • Setting up governance forums including management reviews & regular status reporting
  • Flag potential issues to management to ensure smooth operation of the initiative
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Engineer / MBA / any PG with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE 2, CAPM etc.)
  • Knowledge in BFSI industry
  • Understanding of Process Improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, ISO, CMMI
  • Basic understanding of emerging technologies like RPA, AI, Blockchain, ML, DL, Chatbot
  • Understanding of statistical tools / concepts
  • Hands on experience on handling large process improvement projects or technology projects or customer centric projects or automation projects (Requirements gathering to Solution Deployment)
  • Strong facilitation skills and hands on experience on driving workshops or stakeholder discussions
  • Strong Documentation skills (Minutes of Meeting, Business Requirement Document, Process Mapping Document etc.)
  • Strong experience on using Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Team management (Direct / Vendor resources)
  • Business acumen including cost benefit analysis
