Job Description

Pre-Bid Design:

  1. Study of tender documents and prepare technical quarries.
  2. Prepare/ review the Bill of quantity for civil works for tender estimates.
Detail Engineering:
  1. Prepare/ review the site grading layout plan, road plan and bench arrangement in soil/rock strata as per standard practice and code
  2. Prepare/ review the design of various types of slope stability/ protection adopted in hilly terrains to protect structures
  3. Prepare/ review the design of earth retaining structures like retaining wall/ Gabions/ MSE wall
  4. Interpret and critically analyze geotechnical report and adopt suitable foundation system
  5. Prepare/ review bearing capacity and settlement calculation for shallow foundation
  6. Prepare/ review bearing capacity and settlement calculation for pile and pile groups
  7. Fully aware of various kind of ground improvement techniques
  8. Remain updated with new construction practices and work towards continual improvement in design
  9. Prepare detail BOQ of civil items.
  10. Get the drawings prepared and check the drawings prepared by the draftsperson.
  11. Technical support to site at the time of project execution
