*Shortlisting of products for internal development by doing a detailed quantitative analysis of the market for niche market areas, differentiated products, and Paragraph IV opportunitiesDriving the technical and commercial evaluation and costing process for the products through various cross-functional teams for concurrence and selection of products. Work closely with Finance and Strategic Marketing to support business growth.Preparation of business cases which were presented to the Executive Management Committee for approvals of the selected products. Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint for business cases and monthly business review materials.Business Development support for the Head of the division to partner with Marketing Partners. Provide leadership to the ex-US licensing initiative and leverage Agile Generic offerings in territories outside the US with strategic partners.Study of new product segments and technology platforms to venture into in line with current US Generics Market Trends and provide a platform for the next growth phase. Work closely with site heads, functional groups, and colleagues at Piramal Sellersville, Lexington, Pithampur, and Morpeth sites to get buy-in and prioritization for Agile programs.Evaluation of M&A proposals, assisting the M&A team by providing market analysis and strategic insights on the ANDAs/Products being acquiredDue diligence support to M&A, licensing, and transactional growth plays by the Generics division.Overall support of the Generics Agile P&L with focus on commercial supplies, milestones, revenue/expenses, and profit share contributions from commercial parties, *SCOPE OF THE ROLEResponsible for portfolio management, forecast modeling, analytics, licensing, and business development for Generics Established ProductsKEY STAKEHOLDERS: INTERNAL PPS ExCom, Site Leadership Teams, Monthly Business Reviews TeamsKEY STAKEHOLDERS: EXTERNAL Customers, US and WorldwideREPORTING STRUCTURE: Reports to SVP and Business Head API Generics and Agile QUALIFICATION: Bachelor s degree in a scientific subject. MBA in Marketing or Finance preferred.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 6-8 years of experience in business development and portfolio management role in a Generics Pharma organization Strong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong command in analytics and proficient in Microsoft Excel for forecast modeling, DCF, and NPV analysis. Experience required with software including IQVIA IMS sales data and Newport API data.Ability to establish and maintain key relationships with external and internal business leadersBackground in deal structuring, product licensing, and material agreements preferred.Ability to build models using inputs on competitive intelligence, pricing, total market, and gross to net assumptions.Knowledge of the life cycle of Generic ANDAs from R&D through Commercialization. Past industry exposure in tech transfer requirements, divestitures, BE clinical, Regulatory, Legal IP, and Operations.
