Job Description

The Manager Marketing & Brand Alliances will work with Director of Marketing on designing commercial strategies that deliver incremental revenue performance via alliance partnerships. The role will be responsible for managing day-to-day partnership activities, helping launch alliance partnerships across South Asia, and working with cross functional teams to deliver against strategic priorities. Manage the discovery, design, develop and delivery phases for strategic roadmap initiatives and associated timelines. Help identify and recommend partnership strategies that will drive incremental performance through Marriott s booking channels for the alliance partnership. Assist with creation of strategy briefs for business and marketing teams to drive incremental revenue for the alliance partnership. It s essential to go the extra mile to make things happen. Track project budgets and maintain precise status of spending, commitments and projections. Report key performance metrics on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Work with cross functional teams (marketing, operations, loyalty, technology, analytics, etc.) at both Marriott International and partner organization to deliver strategic partnership initiatives As Marriott continues to grow across South Asia, this role will be intensely involved in creating new alliances that can be leveraged by new hotel launchesSkills and Competencies

  • Technical Skills and Knowledge Demonstrated experience in partnership, promotional, channel and frequency marketing
  • Strong strategic, analytical, problem solving and influencing skills to sustain high impact relationships with key stakeholders
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for providing information to clients, partners and senior management
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to analyze markets, performance data, and business issues and draw insight/conclusions
  • Project management experience in organizing, planning and executing projects from conception through implementation
  • Demonstrates ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies which is also backed a strong track record
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain and grow business of hotels with effective alliances and partnerships
  • Should have the ability and skillset to execute the proposed and approved plans
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal associates (e.g. GMs, Sales and Revenue, Leaders, Regional Team) and external parties
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks for multiple stakeholders and projects
  • Maintaining performance level under pressure or when experiencing changes or challenges in the workplace
  • Setting high standards of performance for self; assuming responsibility for work objectives; initiating, focusing, and monitoring the efforts of self toward the accomplishment of goals; proactively taking action and going beyond what is required
, Education and Experience
  • Minimum of a graduate from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration or related major
  • 5-7 years experience in partnership and marketing environments with demonstrated technical proficiency related to the position
  • Experience in hospitality or related fields are a must
