Job Description

1. Contributing mightily to the accomplishment of the mission/ vision and cultural performance standard of Phillips Corporation, and establishing our code of conduct as the basic value system of the company 2. Ensuring that all financial reporting is 100% accurate and on time for each HFO and for India consolidated all process and procedures adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; 3. Providing insightful analysis to company leaders before they know that they need it adding tremendous value by assuring that all reports accurately reflect the current reality and allow us to measure against our financial objectives; 4. Developing, implementing, and maintaining the best expense management system in order to increase understanding among all partners of their role in creating a profitable company and keeping leadership always apprised to expenses as they relate to achieving the companys objectives; 5. Being a highly respected liaison with the bank; also taking responsibility for creating and maintaining outstanding relationships to build true community with customers and vendors always ethical and mutually beneficial; 6. Always being accomplishment oriented as evidenced by my masterful utilization of MyCDT to assure that I am always on the path of learning and improvement; And being a role model user of MyCDT; thereby causing myself and all partners I work with to accomplish what we never believed to be possible; 7. Participating in all strategic planning as a key advisor to my leader in all areas (including people decisions, capital requirements, expense and cost management, inventory, office management systems, etc.); 8. Working with sales leadership to ensure that bidding, costing, contracting, collections, etc. are the best, continually improving processes within the HFO community; 9. Promoting a team environment by fully, accurately, and promptly sharing information with my leader and with the appropriate financial team members in Hanover; 10. Being a super user and super teacher of the financial software system with full understanding of the financial implications of each type of transaction maintaining and making available current, accurate, and user- friendly instruction manuals for all system modules; 11. Being a sought after expert in all areas of industrial relations laws as they apply to our business, All activities related to Direct, Indirect Taxation such as Income Tax, Transfer pricing, TDS, and Excise, Service tax, Prof Tax, VAT of various State as regards to timely & accurate payments, monthly / quarterly / annual filing and compiling of Returns & Assessments thereof. 12. Coordinating on regular basis with various Tax consultants and Auditors for Tax audit, Vat Audit, appearing in assessment and compiling and submissions of various information in relation to direct & indirect tax assessments. 13. Coordinating with external auditors for finalizing Tax audits & coordinating with outside consultants for finalizing Income Tax returns with filings. Maintenance of Tax Masters in the Accounting System & ensuring the correctness of Transactions involving Tax implications 14. Timely issuance of TDS Certificates, C forms, & Monitoring of various statutory forms regularly. Preparation of various Tax reconciliations viz for excise , Income tax, service tax, VAT/ CST with books of accounts 15. Coordinating with statutory auditors for half yearly and annual audit and compliance thereof. Also doing the financial Accounting, Monthly accounts closing and reporting regularly.,
