Job Description

Hiring Manager - Legal & Compliance - Insurance for a Life Insurance company based at Thane. Exp -7-8 years out of which at least 3-5 years are spent in audit/compliance function in a life insurance company Qualification -CA, CS with audit experience Tech Skills -

  • Knowledge of various audit tools like ACL and risk based audit methodologies
  • Understanding of insurance legal framework
  • Good knowledge of IRDAI regulations and statutes
  • Knowledge of various operational processes involved in life insurance
Role Summary:
  • Conducting in-depth compliance reviews as per areas identified under the Annual Compliance Review Plan within the prescribed timelines,
  • Reporting of compliance outages to the function and agreement on mitigation strategies
  • Review implementation of management action plan for mitigation of compliance outages identified
  • Updation of functional Compliance checklists
  • Conducting in-depth compliance reviewsas per areas identified under the Annual Compliance Review Plan.
  • Prepare reports on assigned reviews and completion within the prescribed timelines.
  • Reporting of compliance outages to the function and agreement on mitigation strategies.
  • Tracking implementation of management action plan for each compliance issue identified
  • Highlight current status of issues and partnering & follow up with the function to ensure closure
  • Validate completeness of corrective actions taken
  • Updation of functional Compliance checklists
  • Record maintenance of all reviews conducted in a systematic manner for future retrieval and reference purposes
