Job Description

    The details are:-Company - Leading General Insurance Company.Roles - Manager - Motor Underwriter.Work Days - 5.Location - Mumbai.Responsibilities for a Manager:1.Formulate and implement Underwriting Guidelines for MotorInsurance within the Underwriting Philosophy.2. Develop a monitoring system for underwriting control, portfolio share and mix, and enforcement of risk acceptance discipline.3. Interacting with Marketing, Claims and Actuarial Teams for review/follow-up and finalizing underwriting guidelines for all products.4. Contributing to the growth of the business by regular interactions with brokers and Intermediaries.5. Analyzing the performance of general insurance products at regular intervals and taking proactive actions to control & normalize the portfolio in consultation with the sales and claims team.6. Analyzing incurred claims ratio, review of the portfolio and taking proactive action for loss control measures.Skill Sets Required:- Sound understanding of numbers/analytics with a sense of business & risk- Good communication & coordination skills to interact & collaborate with multiple functions- Good presentation skills with the ability to engage with seniors & making effective strategic recommendations- Experience in analytics, pricing, research, controls & strategizing- Adequate knowledge of Process and product in Motor UnderwritingIdeal Applicant: -- Total of 4+ years of core experience in Motor Underwriting.- Expertise in handling regional zones- Experience in analytics, pricing, research, controls & strategizing.- Knowledge of Process and product development.If interested contact Ms.Rukaiya at or +918108025607.
