Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1. Knowledge of vehicle aggregates in Auto, Tractor, Trucks and Bus 2. Study and Analysis of SOR/ Drawings for components. 3. Cost Estimation of parts from SOR/drawing. 4. Knowledge of material grades, welding and surface treatment processes. 5. Knowledge of selection of ideal manufacturing processes based on drawing/Tolerances. 6. Knowledge of Vehicle level systems of Truck and Buses. 7. Knowledge of Cost Reduction and Cost Improvements. 8. Knowledge of Most techniques, Component Cost Benchmarking, VAVE, Target Costing / Business perspective. 9. Working knowledge and experience of monitoring projects 10. Coordination with various agencies (Design/Product Planning / Sourcing) 11. Standardization of child parts.
