Job Description

*Role Profile The LCD Innovation function is a global group within the Legal and Compliance Division that provides services and expertise to teams within the Division to address opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce manual work and adopt transformational practices, including Lean and Agile. The individual will work closely with other members of the Innovation team as well as the COO and Special Projects group. The individual will engage with personnel across the LCD Division who want to improve operational productivity.The Productivity Solution Specialist will join the LCD Innovation function to focus on creating tools and lightweight automated approaches to address business needs in line with the LCD innovation strategy. The individual will focus on identifying and addressing tactical opportunities to maximize efficiencies and deliver quick wins to the division.Primary Responsibilities

  • Review opportunity improvement requests and determine productivity solutions, including the usage of Advanced MS Office features, data consolidation and macros.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities for productivity improvement by conducting analysis and working with LCD personnel to implement lightweight automated solutions and/or process changes
  • Support process improvements by reviewing and documenting existing processes thorough process mapping, determining process improvement opportunities and defining future state processes, delivering process automation solutions
  • Plan, design, develop, test and deploy automated solutions using Firm standards to address prioritized opportunities
  • Document requirements and end user solutions; maintain existing tools and continue to enhance tools to promote a best-in-class model
  • Create and manage training, guidance and appropriate support documentation to enable users to use and maintain solutions in a self-service and sustainable manner
  • Design and create prototypes / proof of concept solutions to influence strategic technology decisions
  • Provide training and guidance to other team members and designated personnel as required
  • Perform peer reviews of other team members work; provide feedback to enhance solutions
  • Assists on ad-hoc special projects and other assigned tasks
, * Required Skills
  • 5+ years of relevant technology, consulting, automation, VBA experience
  • Creative problem solver with ability to evaluate opportunities and devise practical solutions to improve efficiency; entrepreneurial and innovative thinker focused on promoting best practices
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel (formulas / pivot tables), MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Visio
  • Advanced Microsoft Office, VBA, SQL, SharePoint, InfoPath/SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Access
  • Proven Experience of creating automated solutions including developing VBA Macros from code, building reporting, creating SharePoint sites
  • Experience conducting detailed process flow analysis to identify improvement opportunities, reduce manual tasks, and develop a streamlined future state process for internal clients
  • Highly organized with strong communication, reasoning and interpersonal skills; ability to act as a technical liaison and translate technical jargon into easily understood user language
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills required; ability to exercise good judgment
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure; ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks and work both independently and in team settings
  • Ability to adapt behavior and work methods to changing requirements and integrate best practices
  • Ability to deliver high quality output, with a focus on detail, accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to work globally with distributed teams and personnel
  • Enjoy automating and simplifying complex processes, curious and driven to learn
Desired Skills
  • Bachelors / Undergraduate degree
  • Working experience with one or more of the following technologies: JavaScript, R, Python, Shell Scripting, Jive, Tableau, Cognos, JIVE
  • Familiarity with Robotics (RPA), Process Automation, AI/Machine Learning
  • Experience or knowledge of efficiency enabling methodologies, including Lean and Agile
