Description R esponsible for successful execution of Global Flow System Projectswithin refining , petrochemical , and related industries. This individual works with CoE Leadershipteam and FSS Global Leadership to develop a global plan focused on supportingthe overall performance of the Flow Systems and Solutions Business. The Quality Plan shall identify the strategicinitiatives which have a significant and positive impact on the quality ofdelivered measurement systems , field services , spare parts and documentationdelivered to customers. This Quality Manager shall work with Coe Team as well world areas tocommunicate the global quality plan and strategic initiatives for the system sbusiness. Support shall be provided toeach area , as needed , to clearly define the plan for implementing each qualityinitiative. Customer loyalty surveyswill be used to track and drive improvement in the customer experience as wellas identify additional opportunities to improve the customer experience. It is critical that key metrics are established to measure overallquality of systems and the performance of business processes used to executeprojects. The metrics are to be reportedfrom each area and consolidated in a format to review with management. Quality Metrics shall be relevant and havesufficient detail to allow the management team to monitor trends and identify opportunities for improvement. Essential functions:Develop , maintain , upkeep the global quality plan and initiatives for the system sbusiness. Work withworld area teams to ensure development and implementation of SystemsStrategic Initiatives. Work todrive a quality culture and problem solving approach throughout thesystem s organization. Define andcommunicate quality initiatives and programs to world area management / quality teams. Provideperiodic update and review of metrics with System s Team. Providedirect guidance and leadership for execution of CoE projects as well assupport for other world areas. Supportdevelopment and maintenance of Project Execution , Engineering , Quality andother Global Standards as required. Supporttracking and resolution of customer field issues as needed. Effectivelyuse the customer feedback and survey process to identify opportunities forimprovement in the business. Requirements Education / Experience / Language skills required: Bachelor s degree in engineering or related field 8 - 10 years experience in leading Qualityorganization covering all design , engineering , fabrication , manufacturing , testing and commissioning aspects. Understanding of quality systems such as ISO , PED , ATEX , etc. Experience in the manufacture , inspection andtesting of equipment used in the construction of measurement systems. This would include various types of valves , instrumentation , flow measurement devices. Proficient in the spoken and written Englishlanguage Knowledge of industry standards such as API , ANSI , ASME , ISO , ISA that includes International Custody Flow MeasurementRequirements Extensive experience in dealing with customers andvendors Extensive experience leading teams of diverseproject resources Other Skills and Abilities: PerfectExecution: Global Quality Manager will be required to work on Perfect ExecutionInitiatives by working closely with the Perfect Execution Leader. InternalCommunications: Engineering , Purchasing , Manufacturing , Test , QA / QC , Documentation , Shipping & Receiving , CustomerService , Sales and Accounts. ExternalCommunications: Customers , Sub - contractors and Vendors providing services , materials or products forSystems Projects. Proven process management and process improvementskills. Work Environment: Will work primarily in an office setting. Will berequired at times to work in a fabrication shop or at a job site with moderatenoise levels and inherent safety hazards. Employee will be required to travel 50% for customermeetings , vendor visits or other Emerson offices. Travel will be international as well asdomestic. Tools & Technology:Proficient working with computers Proficient with MS Office Tools (i.e. Word , Excel , PowerPoint , Outlook , Access) Familiar with basic design work processes and hascompleted basic design packages for external customers. Being able to effectively communicate findingsthrough reports and presentations. Relies on experience andjudgment to plan and accomplish goals.,
