The Group has been connecting its customers to the global economy for more than two decades, growing prosperity by advancing trade.*LI- TRMain PurposeWe are looking for an accomplished QA lead with extensive experience in managing testing activities to enable the delivery of complex software development projects. An ideal candidate would be responsible for driving QA deliverables in partnership with vendor teams, make quick decisions and provide practical solutions for challenging problems. Demonstrates strong ability to think through the requirements from a business user point of view and work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines. The candidate will collaborate with various stake holders across IT and business user groups in on a complex end- to- end trading platform.Key Responsibilities- Lead efforts to enhance and work towards making the testing process more efficient- Proficient in creating and reviewing test cases and test plans- Exercise proven analytical and written/ oral communication skills- Build and enrich functional and domain knowledge - Collaborate with QA leads to create and drive software quality goals- Manage end to end testing activities for strategic target releases- Work in a challenging and fast paced environment- Demonstrate and maintain strong working relations with business analysis, development and business user groups- Work with vendor partners to define test strategy and drive testing deliverables- Monitor progress on testing deliverables and manage status reportingKnowledge Skills and Abilities- 8+ years of experience working in quality assurance groups- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent/ relevant education- Sound understanding of databases and UNIX systems- Preferred understanding of commodities trading or other trading domains- Experience working with vendor partners to drive testing deliverables- Good to have working experience on any automation toolsKey RelationshipsDepartment OverviewTrafigura is committed to building and maintaining world class IT applications and infrastructure.
