Job Description

    *Role Responsibilities Strategy
    • Candidate should have good understanding on Retail On-boarding and relevant skill to manage the team, process, policy and Stake Holders. Should also possess fare knowledge in strategic planning and execution.
    Business
    • Retail Banking & Business Banking Client On-Boarding Operations.
    Processes
    • Always managing a team of highly efficient people responsible for RBO by effective supervision.
    • Manage and contribute towards projects, both within GBS and at a group level.
    • Ensure all the process exceptions are within the laid down group policies and procedures.
    • Embed Lean philosophy within the operating model.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automate manual process/controls to achieve high level of productivity and efficiency for the unit.
    • Participate in the discussion on any system changes / projects and provide inputs.

    • Proofreads work and/or checks the process delivered thoroughly to eliminate errors.
    • When issues present consults with others to ensure he/she has resolved them in the appropriate way.

    • Understands the situation and perform right escalations.
    • Being able to provide data for performing root cause of the problem.

    • Escalates issues to senior management within parameters of role.

    • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework & Group CDD Procedures.

    • Lead the Retail CDD Operations to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] *
    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

    Our Ideal Candidate 10 years of work experience in the following areas:
    • Graduate preferably with Banking Operations / Finance experience with minimum 10 years of leadership exposure.
    • The incumbent should have worked in the Banking Operations / Financial Services sector for around 10+ years. Also, should have in-depth knowledge on CDD & Onboarding processes.
    • Knowledge on lending & Liabilities products and processes will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge on the Retail and Business Loans will have an added advantage.
    • Formulize and execute multiple projects in addition to Core responsibilities.
    • Passion to lead people, provide direction and focus to team members.
    • Ability to build strategic solutions keeping in mind the ever changing organizational & regulatory environment.
