It means your application has progressed to an important stage of our recruitment process.Role Responsibilities The Right shoring advisory role is part Right Shoring Enablement (RSE) team at Standard Chartered GBS. The individual will be responsible in developing fit-for-purpose strategy for the businesses / group. The strategy will cover all the Global Business Services (GBS) centres present globally, i.e., India, Malaysia, China and Poland.
• Analyse company s objectives and goals and assist in recommending strategies towards achieving them (increasing revenue, making critical decisions, cutting costs, leveraging on next gen technology etc).
• Troubleshoot current issues and assist in solution implementation via thorough analysis of industry best practices and help establish proper objectives and goals (e.g., available through industry reports).
• Converge inside-out and outside-in perspective and help propose development of cogent, coherent plans of action (jointly with business).
• Create implementation plan / roadmaps the proposed strategy with clearly defined milestones to track progress going forward.
• Develop ExCo friendly presentations with crisp and clear messaging.
• Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, distinct client and results orientation, mental agility.
• Constructively challenges business on assumptions and goals; asks questions that effectively lead to deeper understanding.
• Strategic thinking mindset and ability to logically structure and process data into meaningful and actionable recommendations.
Our Ideal Candidate
• Looking for a candidate with 8+ years of relevant experience in strategic advisory.
• Banking / Global Business Services domain knowledge is good to have but not a necessity.
• Experience of running and managing similar initiatives.
• A strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project.
• Flexible and creative: ability to propose innovative ideas, build empathy within the firm and win the trust of the clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization.
• Stakeholder management skills and project management skills.
• Proven influencing and perseverance skills to tailor recommendation to the needs of stakeholders and effectively engage them to obtain commitment and drive impact.

• Experience of working in a cross functional remote global team.
