Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Service Contract Cell is a cell within SSU ( Strategic Sourcing Unit) aimed at consolidating, negotiating and finalising all the services and FOS related contracts at AFS level.This special cell will empanel suppliers, RFQ contracts, negotiate and award contracts at AFS level by leveraging strategies to bring synergy and economies of scale so as to deliver maximum value to all the businesses of AFS.The above mentioned Service Contracts include but not limited to Sales & Marketing servcies , Logistics (Inbound,Outbound,Line Feeding, Warehousing), Canteen, Bus Transportation, Legal and Professional Fees, Manpower contracts like Contract manufacturing, Housekeeping,Security,Drivers etc
    • Understand the requirements (Scope of Work and SLAs) from various user departments relating to Sales & Marketing services(ATL/ BTL activities etc) across all the businesses of AFS ( Auto - Farm Sector), Spare Parts and Allied Business
    • Must have understanding in settling commercials and contracts relating to sales and marketing activities like ATL, BTL, Webcreatives, Digital Media, Creatives, Media Drives, PR Agencies etc
    • Must have in depth Understanding of communication, liasoining and negotiations while dealding with professional, consulting and marketing agencies
    • Decide the vendor panel and Float RFQs wherever necessary
    • Receive and Analyse quotes and Decide Target Price
    • Conduct Negotiations and Achieve Target Price as jointly decided by senior management
    • Award contracts/Empanel vendors as per approval of senior management and close communication with the user department
    • Present key updates, issues to senior management and seek support for de bottlenecking wherever required
    • Liaise with legal department wherever necessary
    • Should be costing and negotiations.
    • Identify competent service provider base
    • Market intelligence on Sales & Marketing servcies
    • Experience in Sales & Marketing service contracts
    • Hands on experience in SAP Ariba sourcing module preffered
    • Other Activities
    • Drive process excellence by supporting in standardization of vendors and processes by driving the synergies
    • To be amiable, professional and approachable at all times
    • Maintain current contracts by updating prices,fees and any other service conditions
    • To ensure the effective management and update of all relevant databases and maintaining systematic filing system
    • Act as the point of contact for both internal and external customers in regards to contractual issues.
    • To liaise positively and professionally with all the vendors & user department
    • Bringing in industry intelligence in own domain & keep up with the technology trends in own domain
