Job Description

    upGrad is currently looking for Manager - Social Media Marketing role.Roles & Responsibilities- The Social Media Manager will be responsible for designing upGrads social media strategy and working with teams, across Creative, Marketing, Sales, Content and Product, to ensure there is a constant and cohesive conversation with the potential consumers, learners and alumni, present on social media. This person will be responsible for delivering quantifiable business and brand impact through social media marketing and engagement.- End to end ownership of upGrad Indias presence on all social channels and strategy across Instagram, Twitter, YT, FB and other new relevant platforms- The person will be responsible for all the content produced on across upGrads social channels and their quality and relevance for the consumer- Ensure that existing formats proven to be effective are leveraged and new formats are explored constantly to innovate and break clutter in the ed-tech space- Ensure that a consistent tone is maintained, visually and through copy, across all platforms, for brand upGrad- Leverage moments in the culture, local and global, to ensure the brand stays relevant to the audience and what they care about- Coordinate between cross-functional teams to ensure relevant information that the consumer on social media needs to know about the brand, is communicated in an effective and timely manner- Analyze and report social channel and activation performance to quantify the effectiveness of editorial content, spike campaigns and drive scalable learnings- The person in this role will be responsible and accountable for the growth of all the channels and their respective community sizes- Liaise closely with content partners and media agencies(in-house and outsourced) to plan and execute campaignsSkill required :- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional social marketing programs- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data- 4+ years of SM marketing experience- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determined- Bachelors degree & MBA - Exceptional persuasive written, verbal, and presentation communication skills- Very high degree of fluency in English- Semi-fluency in HindiPreferred Qualifications :What you will need to like and excel at this - Working knowledge of new technologies and trends in the world of education, tech, pop culture- Ability to comprehend complex information, distill and explain it to a lay person- An understanding of the ed-tech industry and its role in the post-COVID world- An in-depth understanding of the average Indian working professional, their needs, their pain points and their mindsetsBe a part of the high growth journey of a global ed-tech platformLocation - Mumbai/Bangalore,
