Job Description

    Role Description and PurposeThe job holder provides procurement support to business teams that are directly supporting our customers. The job holder is expected to help ensure our supply chains are effective and responsive such that they help us exceed the expectations of our customers and help us win and retain businessResponsibilitiesWork with pre-sales/ bid manager team on understanding the scope of bids/ deals and map appropriate vendor considering capability and commercial feasibilityCreate and develop relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholdersLead commercial negotiations with suppliers for goods and services ensure the best terms possible are obtained to win customer deals within a stringent timelineEnsure purchases are executed in a timely manner and in accordance with the companys policiesTrack and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectivenessCollaborate with key persons including demand & delivery manager to ensure clarity of the specifications and SLAsDevelop risk management plans for key category areas to ensure security of supplySeek out supply chain advantages to help the business improve its ability to compete and winJob RequirementsExperience of working in a similar role ideally within a telecom environmentMore that 8 years procurement experience at least half of which should be in Telecom, IT companiesB.tech / MBA qualification is mustExperience of working in a pre-sales environment is mustStrong negotiation and stakeholder management skillsGood knowledge of sourcing, procurement and supplier managementExperience of leading contract negotiations for network, IT (including software licenses)Well organized and self-motivated individual capable of working with a high degree of autonomyAbility to work under time pressure and with some amount of ambiguityPossess analytical skills to determine the best deals for the company and have to evaluate theMany pros and cons of each supplier based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factorsFull member of CIPS or possession of a similar procurement/supply chain qualification is desirableQualification & experienceQualification : B.E / B.Tech and MBAExperience : 8+ yearsJob Segment: Supply Chain, Supply Chain Manager, Pre-Sales, Supply, Procurement, Operations, Sales,
