Job Description

Responsibilities

  • A technical architect with SmartStream Technologies is expected to map high level architectural ambiguity driven by product roadmaps to software designs resulting in highly scaleable products that will be implemented with large financial institutions around the world.
  • In addition this role demand someone to be able to manage deliveries across FEMS product line

Key Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience
  • 3+ years of experience in architecture and design

Technical skills:

  • Requirements capture and analysis experience
  • Knowledge of large architectures
  • Software design skills through the use of UML
  • Sound understanding of design patterns and their applications
  • Rapid prototyping of technologies predominantly based on the J2EE stack
  • Well versed with RDBMS products
  • Sound knowledge of the software delivery methodologies and supporting tooling

Tooling and Products:

  • UML design tools such as Rational, Togethersoft etc
  • Application servers - WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss
  • Database servers - Oracle 9.x, MS SQL 2000 etc
  • Unit testing - JUnit Desirable Skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • An eye for detail
  • Excellent project leading skills
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written skills
  • Readiness to work in a multi cultural environment
  • Fair understanding of Database structure and Server maintenance activities
