Job Description

Position: MechatronicsLocation: Navi MumbaiPosition Description/Responsibilities:

  • Development of mechatronic systems for vehicles and trailers
  • Concept development and evaluation. Consistent further development of selected concepts according to defined system requirements and targets
  • Design of individual components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies with mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic components
  • Integration of these components to functionally reliable systems
  • Active communication and cooperation with the development departments in Germany and USA as well as external partners and suppliers
  • Collaboration on functional safety concepts and risk analyses
  • Managing sub-projects in compliance with defined project requirements and targets
Profile Requirements/Skills:
  • B.E./B.Tech. in Mechatronics, Automotive or Electronics, with a focus on Electronic Engineering, Automation Technology, or similar
  • At least 5 years of related experience in Electrical drive systems/Actuators especially from the Automotive background
  • Very good knowledge of sensor technology
  • Several years of experience in Design and very good handling of CAD-Systems (especially CATIA)
  • Experience in hardware and/or software development and diagnosis
  • Knowledge of metals, plastics and joining technology
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
  • Very good English speaking and writing skills Other Qualifications :
  • Effectively speaks, writes, and presents clearly with information and direction (both oral and written) positively
  • Seeks to clarify and confirm understanding if any instructions or terms are unfamiliar or vague & maintains confidentiality
  • Experience with MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Candidates who are ready to relocate to Mumbai only need to apply as this is work from office position
  • Candidate will need to work from 12 noon to 9 pm IST
