Purpose of the roleTo develop and execute strategy for effective use of shelf space to maximize sales and profitability therebyachieving the MRPL Supermarket & Mega Mart vision.Principal ResponsibilitiesThe principal responsibilities of this role will entail the following:To work on space projects to maximize look and feel, space allocations and product adjacenciesTo implement a category strategy for effective use of shelf space to maximize sales and profitabilityReview of Space allocation to products and implement changes based on feedbacks from Category TeamAnalyze:a) Space and performance data for optimum space allocation.b) Space and sales details to identify the root cause and take action on SKU mapping and spaceallocation issues.c) Planogram design to align with category objectives and consumer expectations.Optimizing the product visibility as per the inventory requirement at store levelKnowledge / EducationMBA/Engineering Grad/Design Grad5-6 years of experience with fashion and lifestyle industryExperience in developing, maintaining and managing planograms in JDA toolMandatory experience in JDA Space planning/Floor Planning /CKB KnowledgeCompetenciesUnderstanding of fashion retail industryAbility to create fixtures for fashion category in JDA ToolStrong communication skills (ability to comprehend, articulate and seamlessly communicate locally)
