CLASSIC STRIPES PRIVATE LIMITED JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Position Title : Manager - Product Development Grade : M4 Location : Pelhar, Vasai (E) Reports to (Position) : Head R&D; I. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Understand technological trends / changes / new materials, Printing electronics and introduce innovative products, applications etc. Assigns and expedites flow of work, and provides direction to Product Development department personnel. Establish priorities for completion of various projects. Provide estimates to the sales / costing department, within established budgetary and time limits. Reviews, approves, and presents final layouts to customer or sales department for approval. Development of new products viz. printed electronics, bio- medical sensors, defence supporting smart materials as well as updation & redevelopment of products of the existing customers also. II. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION Indepth knowledge in formulation and functional properties of various polymer (plastic) materials, Coatings, Dispersions and Nano materials. Knowledge of Polymer Materials, Spectroscopy, Electro Magnetic Spectrum, Printing Creativity and the ability to think outside the box in product development Attention to detail combined with a thorough, meticulous method of working Time management to meet tight deadlines Good communication skills The ability to work as part of a team in a pressured environment Flair & knack for creativity & innovation III. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION M. Tech Material Science / Polymer / Plastics / Rubber Technology 10 12 yrs of experience in Product Development in Specialty / 3 d printing/ Smart coatings Experience in Membrane switches, Eletcro- luminance, LEDs, PCB etc. ,
