Our clients are organizations fromdiversified sectors.The Middleware Architect & Team Leader will report to the Development Manager/ProjectManager and will be accountable for developing and maintaining key integration andworkflow service modules of TPSL software. He or she is also charged with leading a groupof experienced software developers.The Middleware Architect & Team Leader position will provide technical leadership,oversight, standardization and validation of middleware application architecture. Architect will work closely with Project Managers, Business Analyst and other IT groups; providingtechnical leadership for integration efforts involving geographically or otherwise distributedEnterprise Applications and Integration platform.The Middleware Architect & Team Leader will work on solutions both internally with theproduct and solutions team and externally with the clients IT teams as required. Thecandidate must have strong communication skills, IT analysis, technical skills, and workexperience in developing client solutions using application and integration middleware andassociated technologies.Job DescriptionDesign and deployments of application components that are standards based, highperformance, highly available, comply with operational standards and procedures.Provide leadership and demonstrate ownership of the integration platform for consistentusage across projects.Understand the business and customer needs to introduce technical solutions that growthe bottom line.Lead the team for integration/performance testing based on integration and test plan,support UAT and make sure that the Application is defect free.Establish Middleware governance based on best practices and ensure proper alignmentbusiness and major initiatives.Understand and contribute to Enterprise IT strategies; adhere to compliance regulationsand development guidelines.Responsible for the architectural review and approval of application designs andtechnology selection for projects.Work closely with Business Analysts and the Product Owner to understand the system sfunctional and non-functional requirementsCollaborate with the Product Owner and Development Manager to define the productvisionWork closely with Technical Analysts and the Development Team to ensure softwarearchitectural integrityImplement code review and unit test processesDesign, develop and modify modules based on functional and non-functional requirementsParticipate in release and sprint planningConduct daily scrum meetingsAssist developers with troubleshooting complex issuesMentor and guide the developersQualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Application Integration architecture, including ServiceOriented Architecture (SOA) and Messaging Systems.Working knowledge of various integration design patterns.Working knowledge of UML and UML design tools (Enterprise Architect)Hands-on development expertise in MQ, Java, JMS, JDBC, etc.Experience building and implementing Enterprise Solutions involving:Application servers - JBOSS, Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic in clusterenvironmentsMessaging Systems - MQ/MQSeries, TIBCO RV/EMS, JMS, etcEnterprise Service Bus (ESB) - WebSphere ESB, Oracle ESB, TIBCO EMS, etcSQL and Database Technology - Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server DatabaseWindows, Linux & Unix OS - preferrably AIX in Unix and RHEL for LinuxKnowledge and experience of JUnit and/or testing methodology.Strong experience in Web Services standards and technologies (e.g. XML, SOAP,WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST, etc.).Maven Build ManagementDistributed version control systems (CVS, VSS, Mercurial, Git )Expertise in Spring Batch, Spring Integration is a plus.Expertise in WebSphere Business Integration (WMB/WBIFN, WMQ) (SOA Suite) isrequiredjBPM is a plus.Interpersonal skillsSelf motivated, team player, action and results orientedWell organized, good communication and reporting skillsAbility to successfully work under tight project deadlines,
