Job Description

Your key responsibilities :The new member of the team, who would report to the Global Head of Index Product Risk & Regulation Team, would be responsible for assisting with:- Designing, communicating, driving, and implementing the Index business regulation Strategy and Operating Plan- Address increased regulations globally by offering best and timely regulatory-linked value-added content and experience to our clients- Execute on related projects through coordination with various cross-functional teams- Effectively managing the Index business risk- Help with identifying, validating, and assessing key Index risks- Driving transformation and automation of various teams [regulatory-related] processes to facilitate efficiencies and mitigate risksYour skills and experience that will help you excel :- Have 5-7 years of relevant industry experience in financial industry (asset owners, asset managers, broker dealer, consultant) with a strong servicing and client focused mindset- Understand the equity investment management process; fixed income knowledge viewed favorably- Know product management processes and demonstrate ownership of product through full development lifecycle; regulatory and risk management exposure viewed favorably- Be able to prepare strategy, operating plan, business plans and internal business update reporting- Have experience working across a matrix organization with proven ability to work cross functionally to develop and execute plans; experience working with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology- Be able to prioritize effectively and execute in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment- Demonstrate increasing levels of initiative, independence, and responsibility in current role while possessing well-developed problem-solving skills, superior written and verbal communications, and high level of attention to detail - Hold undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or equivalent experience required; MBA, CFA/FRM designations (or participation in the programs) viewed very favorablyHow well support you :- Coaching and support from experts in your team- A performance and growth-oriented culture and values- Opportunities for continuous learning to aid progression- Goal based objectives and development plans- Transparent performance-based compensation schemes- Employee resource groups such as the Womens Leadership Forum, MSCIPRIDE, Black Leadership Network and Eco-Groups.About MSCI and our teams:MSCI is a market leader in Global Indexes, Smart Beta, ESG and Risk Management, and is at the forefront of the secular trends dominating the financial services landscape today.
