Job Description

Detailed understanding of FIX connectivity vendor invoicesReconciliation of vendor cost to trading activity by clientReview and analysis of client and 3 rd party vendor requestsCoordination of response to client and 3 rd party vendor requestsCoordination of concise transition from external response to internal implementationCoordination of response to internal new client onboard requests including business opportunity analysis and client selection committee (CSC) requirementsCoordination within Mumbai team and respective regional teams to achieve a globally consistent, streamlined client onboard and CSC processIdentification of inactive, unprofitable FIX connectivity by vendor and clientOngoing development and coordination of monthly review and elimination of unprofitable FIX connectivityCoordination of monthly review and elimination of zeroed limits FIX connectionsSystemic maintenance and hygiene of MS FIX connectivity databaseDevelopment and coordination of periodic reviews of lower value clients, including coordination of off-boarding where necessaryThe basic skills required for the role are the ability to quickly learn how to navigate databases, manipulate data from these confidently in Excel and respond to requests promptly. Whilst specific knowledge of the Equities business is not critical, an understanding of the product and the trading risks associated would be an advantage.The basic skills required for the role are the ability to learn quickly how to navigate databases, manipulate data from these confidently in Excel and respond to requests promptly. MBA would be advantageous.Exposure/knowledge of different equity and equity derivatives products is desirable.Exposure/knowledge of different order and execution management systems is desirable.Excellent written & spoken English; Excellent business writing skillsExcellent telephone skills (regular phone contact with team required)Advanced knowledge and extensive hands on experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel including macros and visual basic (preferable).Familiarity with Business Objects (BOXI) database in terms of ability to run queries and pull information.Familiarity with databases and the ability to manipulate/analyze data confidentlyStrong analytical skillsAttention to detailTeam workProblem solving,
