Role: MuleSoft DeveloperExperience: 3 - 5 yearsLocation: MumbaiWe are currently looking for integration developers who have hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Responsibilities will include integration design, development, testing, deployment, and transition to clients. Knowledge in additional integration tools such as Oracle, Tibco, Camel, Boomi, WSO2, etc. is a plus. We also take a very proactive approach in educating our clients, so comfort with presentation or client mentoring is important. Aside from the technical know-how, we look for individuals who are bright, driven, technically savvy, eager to learn, comfortable interacting directly with clients, and able to be productive both independently and within a team. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in all phases of the development life cycle on client engagements, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, transition, and support
• Maintain strong skills in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including CloudHub and on-premise options
• Utilize strong design and development patterns and frameworks to promote exceptional solutions that meet client requirements
• Verify the scope of work provided to you is in line with the estimated delivery timeline, provide accurate status updates, and immediately notify the project manager if there is a concern about the ability to deliver according to expectations on time or quality
• Follow good practices and project guidelines in all cases including the use of source code control, automated testing and deployment approaches, test-case-based development, and proper documentation practices
• Continue to develop professional and technical knowledge by working with other team members, attending workshops and webinars, reading industry publications, and participating in technology communities
• Contribute to the internal Sierra-Cedar community by sharing knowledge, assisting others, and keeping up with the new trends and best practices as they evolve in the industry
• Identify and quickly escalate potential issues with solution design, packaged software, client resources, or anything else that impacts your ability to deliver according to expectations
• Attend required internal and client meetings and calls on time and with adequate preparation

REQUIRED SKILLS

• A minimum of 1 year hands-on work with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Cloud or on premise)
• Understanding of RAML and how to participate in API-led implementations with a RAML-first approach
• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Runtime Manager (ARM) or Mule Management Console (MMC)
• Experience building, testing, and deploying MuleSoft applications using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio
• Strong Java skills and experience with JSON and XML
• Hands-on experience with various design patterns within MuleSoft such as Scatter-Gather
• Solid understanding of the MuleSoft exception-handling capabilities and how to integrate those concepts into solution design
• Ability to translate business requirements into a comprehensive, well-formed technical design
• Understanding of the difference between RESTful and SOAP Web Services
• Experience working closely with business users and helping them make critical decisions that will influence the solution by explaining options, concepts, and best practices
• Strong attention to detail around business process design and process improvement
• Excellent written and verbal skills are essential
• Understanding of project priorities, timelines, budget, and deliverables and the need to proactively push yourself and others to achieve project goals
• Strong consulting skills to work in a professional manner with customer IT and business users
• Experience working with source code control systems
• Competency within UNIX and Linux environments for general application troubleshooting and operating system navigation
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve difficult problems quickly
• Ability to take total ownership of assignments to resolve issues and drive them to completion

DESIRED SKILLS

• Experience with integration between common applications such as Workday, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle Cloud Apps, Taleo, ServiceNow, etc.
• Experience with the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform API Management tools
• Experience with other API management tools such as Apigee
• Experience with MUnit or other automated testing frameworks related to developed code
• Understanding of the use of certificates and encryption for secure integrations
• Strong understanding of general business process flows
• Experience with continuous integration and test tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins in a development environment
• Experience working in an Agile methodology
• Scrum knowledge/experience a plus
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies and frameworks
• Exposure to MDM, ETL, and ELT and the difference between those concepts and service bus concepts
