Job Description

Role Summary:

Baker Hughes has a new opportunity for Network Operations Service Delivery Manager to join the team in Mumbai, India.

Essential Responsibilities:

As a Network Operations Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving efficiency and improve effectiveness of support processes
  • Driving operation excellence programsinitiatives targeting overall improvement in system stability and reliability
  • Driving targeted outcomes to reduce Mean Time to Repair and prevent problems
  • Following defined processes and identifying areas for simplification or improvement
  • Driving standardization of support processes
  • Supporting the implemented design & engineering of the Baker Hughes global network environment
  • Complexcritical incident troubleshooting, complex change implementation, and work on critical hub & core environments
  • Providing highest level support and coordination of critical network-related incidents and outages from Baker Hughes Network Operations Center
  • Coordinating technical resolution of network-related high profile incidents working with multiple teams on outage bridges
  • Participating in the delivery of major global programs
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Desired Characteristics:

    • Possess a Fundamental understanding of networking technologies, security, routing (particularly BGP), switching, SD-WANLAN, SDN & cloud connectivity
    • Have experience with the support & configuration of Palo Alto firewalls preferred
    • Have familiarity and working experience with CA Service Desk and Service Now platforms
    • Have excellent communication skills: clear written and verbal communication. Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and influence the future direction of the products services that are supported
    • Have excellent collaboration skills: ability to work with other network operations engineers and cross-functional peers
    • A proven record of improving operational excellence (resiliencereliability, KPI, cost, etc.)
    • Be adept at working in a multi-team fast-paced environment.
