Job Description

It means your application has progressed to an important stage of our recruitment process.The Role Responsibilities Strategy We are looking for a strong Reporting Lead for our Corporate Content team. You will be responsible for the strategic, creative and multi-channel delivery of our annual and half-year reports and ESG reports:
    • You are passionate about strategic storytelling, and an ambassador for best-in-class, digital-first reporting and communications, guided by audience insights
    • You understand market trends, best practice and the regulatory environment for reporting, and will inform our thinking and solutions at a senior level
    • You have experience of ESG reporting, including Taskforce for Carbon-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) reports, with a strong handle on both governance and innovation
    • You are able to provide guidance on investor presentations and positioning of reporting on our corporate website, for maximum reach and impact
    You will build and lead a reporting centre of excellence , delivering for the Group s corporate stakeholders, clients and colleagues to meet core business objectives. As a senior member of the Corporate Content team, you will also be supporting the Global Head, Corporate Content on the ongoing transformation and refinement of our corporate narrative and positioning.     • Work with report content owners and publishing vendor to finalise report structure and design
    • Ensure draft deadlines are met and that copy is up to standard for senior stakeholder review
    • Manage legal review processes with both internal and external counsel
    • Proofread report documents and check for message consistency across the Group s reporting suite
    • Work with the Digital Channels and Platforms teams to prepare for publication of the Group s reports in its owned channels (website, social media and events)
    • Manage external contributors, such as publishing vendor and printing compan

    • Help to ensure continuous improvement in the team s processes, including planning, performance measurement and reporting
    • Manage the budget
    People & Talent
    • Ensure reporting is resourced appropriately, drawing upon Corporate Content team members as required, and flagging resource gaps
    • Lead the three-person annual report Project Management Team
    Risk Management
    • Support the Corporate Content team on its adherence to the Group s operational risk management framework
    • Manage for reputational risk, flagging and escalating issues as appropriate
    Governance
    • Run reporting projects aligned to the appropriate governance structure
    • Ensure continuous improvement and excellence in reporting governance
    Regulatory & Business Conduct
    • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct.
    • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
    • Lead the Corporate Content, Annual Report project management team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles
    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters
