Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-sufficient and dynamic Director-Events, determined to increase the profitability in line with the vision of the company. You are expected to maximize MICE, in terms of revenue development from Meetings, Conference and Weddings, Bollywood events and from new and existing Corporate Direct, grand openings, CSR events, retailer events, stage events, sponsorships and 3rd Party Agencies. Ensure all events and promotions conducted are within the legal framework. All departments for creatives and other designing of collaterals are well looped in for every events. Should be very active in promoting each and every event on Social Media Be involved in the Event to ensure smooth and timely execution till the end To develop and implement a well-defined and focused sales strategy and action plan in line with the Events. Maintain and encourage a strong and collaborative working relationship with all team members internally and externally. Conduct face to face sales appointments and calls. Timely execution of events and activations achieving desired quality in execution and evolving cost effective solutions in terms of resources and new vendors. Lead the production function while ensuring seamless execution of events/projects allotted. Actively involved in the negotiation process on high value leads a - leave no stone untouched- attitude. Responsible for meeting revenue and margin targets on monthly basis To attend relevant industry events on a regular basis. To keep abreast of, and report on, market trends, competitor activities and feedback when required by the management. Required Candidate profileGraduate in sales & marketing, tourism, hospitality, events or other general management preferred. 15+ years of experience in Corporate Sales, preferably in luxury, travel, events, hospitality, advertising or media industry. Knowledge of onsite management of Conferences, Exhibitions, and Awards will be preferredStrong interpersonal skills. Ability to handle high-value business clients and consistently address their requirements Strong communication and presentation skills at all levels, both written and verbal Negotiator / sales driven mindset Tenacious and resilient ,
