Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Job opening for Distribution Head in Mumbai- PharmaExperience: 8-12 yearsEducation: B. Pharma/Science degree + PGLanguage: English, Hindi, MarathiJD:
    • Should have worked in pharma distribution only
    • Should be handling smooth flow right from factory, warehouse to CNF, stockists
    • Preparing reports for inventory and stock in transit
    • Act as a Central Point of contact among Purchase dept., Production dept., QA team, Distribution dept. Sales & marketing team and Depot in charges. Supervise the complete distribution chain from manufacturing units till the finished goods are delivered to depots.
    • Scrutinizing Indents received from depots
    • Generate rolling forecast based on past history, current trend, market intelligence etc.
    • Working in close coordination among Purchase Department, Production department & QA team for execution of production plan.
    • Communicate with purchase dept. for timely supply of Raw & packing Material
    • Working in close coordination with Sales & Marketing team for planning and ensuring dispatches of new products as per defined timelines.
    • To prepare dispatch plan of finished goods from Factory to Depots & ensure availability of goods in market in order to meet forecast & minimize sales loss.
    • Follow up with plants & instruct them for execution of dispatches
    • Follow up with depots for timely receipt of materials and other operational issues.
    • Maintaining record of stock in transit and follow up for receipt of the same.
    • Constantly reviewing the stock across all depots to maintain stock freshness and minimize generation of stock.
    • Inter depot Stock transfer to maintain the sale.
    • Regular analysis of Market returns / Non Moving stocks / Near Expiry stocks and work with field personnel for liquidation.
    • Regular analysis of Factories & Warehouses stock.
    • Record keeping of Stock received and dispatched.
    • MIS of Production Plan v/s Actual Production.
    • MIS reports of Allocation v/s Dispatch,
