JD for Plumbing Qulification :- BE Mechanical or BE Civil. JD: PLUMBING ( Supply , Drainage & Storm Water) - Estimation of minimum no of plumbing fixture as per IPC Code & Standards. - Calculation of cold water demand (Including hot water) water heater, Underground, Overhead tank capacity. - Pipe sizing based on cold & Hot water. - Workshop drawing preparation Material, fitting and valves quantity take off and execution of Installation. - Calculation of pressure losses for direct Up- feed & Down- feed System for High Rise plumbing system. - Pump head calculation. - Pump selection (Booster pump, Transfer pump, Sump pump). - Calculation of pipe size, trap size and slope in sanitary drainage system. - Testing and Commissioning of water supply pipe line, Drainage pipe line, Storm water pipe line and control. - Workshop drawing and material submittal preparation. FIRE FIGHTING ( Sprinkler System, Stand pipe System, Hydrant System) Shop Drawing Preparation according to Codes & Standards NFPA 13, 14. Classification of fire - NFPA. Fire Class & Extinguishing Agent. Fire Sprinkler System. Design and layout of Sprinkler System as per Occupancy / Hazard Classification - NFPA. Calculation of Pipe sizing According to Hazard. Calculation of Hydraulic Characteristic of Fire Sprinkler. Calculation of Head & Capacity of Pump. Selection of Fire Pump (Electrical Pump, Diesel Generator, Jockey Pump). Hydraulic Analysis of Sprinkler System using Elite Software and Manually. Class of Stand pipe System. Installation of FHC. System Design , Location of Hose Connection. Calculation of FDC Inlet according to Flow rate. Hydraulic Calculation of Stand pipe for Pump Selection and Tank Capacity.,
