Job Description

    Do you know how to maintain independence and objectivity We are looking for someone like that to:- support the functional risk advocate in managing operational risk within Compliance and Operational Risk Control- ensure roll-out of and adherence to GCRG policy lifecycle rules within C&ORC IB and support/challenge document owners to address outliers on a timely basis.- make sure that GCRG Risk Mgmt receives complete and correct publication requests and endorsement packs- provide timely and exhaustive updates on the policy reviews- support the document consolidation efforts and KPC (Key Procedural Controls) mapping corrections- risk management & assessment across C&ORC IB- review of Operational risk issues. Check and challenge as per the Operational risk framework and timely completion- co-ordination with senior management to ensure healthy control environment. Continuous review of the Control environment to ensure it is fit-for-purpose, complete & accurate.- ad-hoc reporting responsibilitiesYour teamCompliance and Operational Risk Control (C&ORC) is an independent function providing oversight of the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risks within the firm. The Global IB Chief of Staff team is seeking a talented individual to work in the Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Reporting area., - a Bachelors or Master s degree in Business/Accountancy/Finance/Law or similar field- good knowledge/understanding of operational risk. Knowledge of operational risk framework is a plus- previous experience in operational risk field or reporting/management office- excellent written communication- strong Knowledge of MS Office. Additional knowledge of reporting tools such as Business Object and Tableau as a plus- strong analysis and problem solving skills- interpersonal and leadership skillsYou are:- a greater communicator both written and verbal- organized, detail orientated and able to work on your own initiative to critically challenge and verify documentation and processes- able to generate ideas and influence senior management- analytical with sharp numeric skills- fluent in English
