Dear Candidate,Greetings of the day!We are Hiring forOperations ManagerWe are looking for an experienced Manager of Operations to organize and oversee the daily operations of order execution. You will be the one to ensure that our operations are well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people. This position involves being RESPONSIBLE for the timely despatch of all Orders as per the timelines committed. Your performance will be in most part measured by the KPI of ON TIME DESPATCH OF ORDERS. You should be conversant with the duties of the entire team and should educate and guide the personnel working under about their duties. The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the companys operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.Responsibilities1. Be the single point connect for execution of all Orders.2. Ensure timely despatch of Orders within the committed timelines.3. Use planning oriented systems to drive execution and to ensure timely despatch of full-kit orders.4. Single point connect for all technical matters and challenges related to order execution. The Senior Management is available to you for advice and guidance.5. Develop method s, systems and processes for continuous improvement in the Order execution process.6. Liaise with the Board to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals. Escalate issues in a structured format on a regular basis.7. The day-to-day running of operations to ensure smooth progress8. Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback9. Evaluate regularly the efficiency of operations related procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.-o maintain all the documentation up to date.11. Generate reports and submit to the Board on a periodic basis.12. Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation.13. Manage relationships with external partners/vendors, wherever needed.14. Evaluate overall performance by collec ting, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics of various d ep artments. These findings are to be presented to the Bo ard.15. Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations.16. To ensure a favorable working atmosphere for the personnel working in departments that report to him/her.17. To ensure proper safety measures are taken in the workplace at all times.18. To ensure that the shop-floor is always maintained up to date in all respects in a presentable condition. Proven experience as Head of Operations or equivalent position. 5+ years of relevant experience handling the Operations of an Engineering equipment manufacturing company. Candidate with background in Supply Chain, St ores, Operations management, Industrial/production engineering is preferred. Conversant and comfortable with ERP systems and their various modules. Knowledge of industrys legal rules and guidelines In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.) Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metricsSkills: A Good leader with excellent organizational and leadership abilities. The ability to take ownership for results with a problem solving approach. Teamwork Orientation - Outstanding communication and people skills. Managing communication between teams in disparate locations Thorough knowledge of various equipment related processes (mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, etc.) as well as manufacturing chain of operations (shaping, grinding, CNC machining, heat treatment, etc.). Proficient and comfortable with ERP systems and their various modules as well as G-Suite and related products.
