Job Description

Job Description Role : Product Designer /Specialist Developer / Team Lead / Developers Experience : 2 to 7 years Technical Skills : Essential:

  • Exposure to Insurance (Specifically Property & Casualty, Life or Annuity)
  • Hands-on Experience on UI Configuration and Rules Engine on Majesco Insurance Products
  • Application programming with inclination towards domain
  • Development experience with object oriented programming JAVA technology stack preferred though not mandatory
  • Experience in design both high level as well as low level
  • Exposure to any database with clear understanding of RDBMS concepts
Desirable:
  • Experience in Object Modelling and Designing using concept of Object Oriented Programming
  • Experience in UI configuration using Majesco Tools
  • Experience or Knowledge in setting up of business rules
  • Experience or Knowledge of Work flow concepts
Functional Skills:
  • Exposure to Multiple Line of Business in the Insurance domain of North American market
  • Activities to be performed:
  • Designing of functional modules on Insurance Products
  • Working on the UI Configuration using Product specific methodology
  • Developing Insurance work flows, defining and updating Object Models and Mappings
  • Writing and defining Rules in Rules Engine
  • Unit Test Plan and Unit Testing
  • Deployment and demo support
  • QC support
  • Module ownership
  • Functional expertise on modules
  • Database scripting and data verifications
  • Defect tracking
