Job Description

  • Delivering the technical tasks within defined timescales and to standards agreed in relevant Service Level
  • Prepare Technical support documents
  • Evaluate new application packaging technologies / tools / methodologies and create point of views
  • Support tools, templates and methods relevant to delivery
  • Perform as Hands on Trainer /co-trainer on multiple topics
  • Report progress, risks and issues in delivery in the required format as per process
  • Carry out intake review for completeness, understanding client requirements and dependencies; clarify doubts pertaining to the same as early as possible
  • Accountable for compliance to agreed delivery metrics, processes and guidelines
  • Perform peer review and assist in Root Cause Analysis for service delivery
  • Communicate with technical team/s for customization / issue resolution
Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor of Science (IT), Bachelor of Comp. Apps. / Mgmt.
  • Relevant Technical Certifications (Optional)
Primary Skills (Must have):
  • Good experience of Application Packaging Tools like Flexera InstallShield/Admin Studio, Wise packaging studio, Microsoft App-V Sequencing
  • Knowledge & experience of MSI technology and Standard Operating Environments
  • Good App-V Sequencing knowledge
  • OSD scripting for App-V sequenced packages
  • Good command over VB Scripting, PowerShell Scripting
  • Experience on packaging for Server, XenApp platforms
  • Troubleshooting experience on Windows OS platforms or Windows Installer issues
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills (the ability to think logically through a problem)
Secondary Skills (Nice to have):
  • Working experience on application package migration for Win 7/Win10 platform
  • Experience in application deployment tools or troubleshooting application installation issues during deployment
  • Knowledge on Microsoft App-V Management Studio (Optional)
  • Knowledge of ticketing and workflow tools like ITSM, SNOW etc
