Job Description

Roles and responsibilities -

  • Quickly gain business context and rapidly iterate in implementing the platform vision.
  • Map platform vision to requirements, system design, code and test cases.
  • Develop features using lean software development principles, with high coding standards, documentation, self-code reviews, etc.
  • Use agile development techniques to manage and clear backlog items.
  • Lead a team of 6-8 members.
Key Skills -
  • Experience in technical analysis and design
  • Experience building portal(s) or web application(s) using PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter / Laravel / CakePHP, etc.
  • Experience in developing Rich UI based web applications using HTML 2.0 web standards, AJAX
  • Expertise in Object Oriented Application Design, and MVC implementation
  • Experti se in PHP (4.x, 5.x), MySQL, JavaScript (jQuery), CSS
  • Experience working in a team development setting, using source code control
  • Experience working with third-party APIs
  • Strong understanding of web infrastructure management and system scaling
  • Experience in leading a team. Should be self-motivated with proven capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Understanding of the core of a CMS (Joomla, Worpress, Drupal, etc.) and eCommerce platform (Magento, OpenCart, etc.) is highly desired.
