The Placement Officer will be part of QUEST Alliances Youth Employability program -- MyQuest, and will be responsible to be the bridge between young people and employment opportunities.He/she will play an important role in achieving its end goal which is to help young people initiate their career journeys by directly interfacing with employers/industries and Placement officers of VTI and ITIs in the region.1. Providing Placement support to Industrial Training Institutes and Vocational Training InstitutesBuilding a robust database of employers by networking with employers, industry bodies to make it available to program implementation partners. Ensuring support to program implementation partner to organise Industry engagement activities effectively and monitoring the same. Building capacity of Placement officers of program implementation partners to plan and organise placement related activities at their institutes.2. Anchoring and executing Placements strategies plans in the regionMaking annual plan and calendar of placement activities in the region by collaborating with regional team. Planning and Conducting Employer engagement events. Anchor Placement officers engagement through regular calls and review meetings. Building active working relationship with representatives of companies, Industry bodies and Placement officers.3. Coordinate facilitate capacity building of placement officers for ITIs and VTIsPlanning and organising trainings for Placement officers. Orientation on placement systems and best practices. Conducting Demos on Industry engagement activities.We are looking for people who:Are really passionate to work with young people to address the employability challenges faced.Is a go getter and can work independently, with minimal supervision.Preference for candidates who are from the Region or have had similar work experience in the NE-Region.Strong communication skills in English and native language, both written and verbal,
