IT - Commercial Manager 10.00 - 20.00 Years , Mumbai Our Client operates as an IT solutions services company and is involved in technology solutions consulting and services , business system integration and services for transport system , including road traffic signals automation and intelligent transport management. They also provides solutions in the field of electronic and security system , manufacturing kiosks , card printing and card personalization and offering maintenance services for technology solutions , peripherals and accessories to corporate clients. Position: Commercial ManagerSalary:Upto 16.00 LacsExperience:10.00 - 20.00 YearsVacancies:2Must Skills / Expertise: Candidate has a Finance background (MBA Finance OR CA OR some key degree in Finance) Candidate has actively participated in Bid Management process Should be from system integration business. Tenders Review of RFPs People who had actually or currently dealing with the OEMs like Oracle , IBM , Dell , infinova , hp , cisco , dlink etc Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi - tasking Key Responsibilities: A Bid Manager is expected to test the robustness of the win themes and strategies to be deployed in a bid He will participate in all high - value bid reviews (1Cr and above) to ensure the overall strategy demonstrates a clear understanding of what has been sought and a clear vision of what is required e.g. understanding material movement logistics , taxes / octroi applicable , whether sufficient provisions / buffers are built - in to absorb unforeseen losses , risks assumptions etc. For bids 1Cr too , his inputs and guidance may be sought from time to time by subordinates He will need to submit an informative synopsis outlining the strengths and weaknesses of the chosen strategy within the bid and any suggestions for improvement in margins , project execution with relevant comments. A strong and able leader in the area of Finance , he will ensure an effective bid review management process is in place (includes defining and enhancing the bid process planning , scheduling and co - coordinating the exchange of information and documentation) in order to ensure that all submission preparation is completed much ahead of bid review deadlines. He will be the focal point to make a correct bid / no bid decision based on Organizational goals and vision During bid review and approval , the Bid Manager will pay special a ention to the Cash Flow position at the respective ISU level and also at the overall organization level He will provide correct and complete guidance within and outside his team , define and enhance processes for Bid Management as and when required He will ensure that his team generates accurate and timely weekly / monthly / quarterly / yearly MIS and that bid documents are securely archived to serve as knowledge repository for reference. Besides operational responsibilities , the Bid Manager is also expected to conduct periodic appraisals , trainings , approve reimbursements within his team and such other administrative needs. Note: We need a COMMERCIAL MANAGER who will review the bid review sheets effectively (mostly numbers in terms of revenues , costs , margins) , understand the T C in tenders / RFPs and underlying risks in terms of payment terms , cash flow , the customers financial health etc.We want a person who proactively participate in the bid review and should not be dependent on any of the department for the inputs , he should himself take a decision so as to go ahead with the bid.Job Nature:Full TimeGender:No Preference,
