Job Description

Job Description SPEL / Aveva Electrical Admin

  1. Perform SmartPlant Electrical Admin task Independently. (i.e. Project Setup, Customization of Reports, Symbols, Publishing etc.) for each project in Petrofac. (Handle Multiple Project)
  2. Perform AVEVA Electrical Admin task Independently. (i.e. Project Setup, Customization of Reports etc.) for each project in Petrofac. (Handle Multiple Project)
  3. Coordination with Hexagon, AVEVA, JV Partners, Clients etc.
  4. Creation of e-URS and UAT
  5. Perform User Support activities for SmartPlant electrical and AVEVA Electrical
  6. Training to users, leads and support team for application functionality
  7. Support for Inhouse development New Development, Document preparation, Implementation support
  8. Support the implementation of the process of change management with respect to specific application/s and interfaces with other applications.
  9. Keep up to date knowledge in development and latest software version releases and rolling out improvements.
  10. Support and assist the integration of application with other engineering and non-engineering systems as required as part of the development.
  11. Develop and maintain Corporate EPC Standard Project Setup.
  12. Interface with Project Controls & Construction department to make workflow process and developments.
  13. Responsible for documentation of Software changes are ensure that changes are tracked in the system. Overview and responsibility for database integrity.
  14. Assist in maintaining consistency of applications across functions in Sharjah and other operational centres.
  15. Support the work share set-up and installation of the application. Develop and maintain detailed work processes for the applications.
  16. Coordinate and support the setup, configuration and customisation of application for each project in Petrofac.
  17. Support the roll out of system enhancements and application changes in a controlled manner. Ensure that changes which are implemented are logged, tested and approved before rolling out.
  18. Perform other related duties as and when directed by the supervisor.
