Principal Engineer (Java, AWS)Job LocationsIN-MumbaiRequisition ID2hidden_mobile7CategoryResearch & DevelopmentWhats the role In this position you will work closely with project managers, data analysts and other developers in a fast paced environment including multiple platforms, architectures and technologies. Furthermore you will:
• Develop an innovative, scalable, high-quality set of microservices in a cross-functional team
• Provide technical leadership on the service architecture
• Write clean, simple and well-tested code
• Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery of systems and infrastructure
• Collaborate effectively in and across teams
• Provide rotational on-call support to the product and root cause analysis of software and system defects
Who are you You are a team-player who collaborates with developers, designers, testers and product manager to create an amazing user experience. You have experience with all aspects of the production software lifecycle. You have good interpersonal skills and feel comfortable coordinating efforts across teams. You are a fast learner, with an eye for detail, strong problem-solving and debugging skills.You are a self-motivated, creative and proactive individual with strong understanding of the software development processes and methodologies. In addition, you should have:
• A Bachelor s degree in engineering and 12+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong Back-end development experience with Java (Spring Boot).
• Excellent experience building and using REST API
• Excellent experience building and deploying microservices using Kubernetes
• Excellent experience running production services on public cloud (AWS preferred)
• Excellent experience with CI systems (Gitlab, Jenkins, or other)
• Understanding of data streaming technologies like Apache Flink.
