In our dynamic, fast-paced environment, the ideal Principal Engineer candidate will be high energy, resourceful and skilled at leading the software and the hardware development team. As a Principal Engineer of Product development, you will lead a team of 4+ highly skilled and motivated Engineers in EFI India Development Centre in collaboration with Fiery Product Management, Hardware Engineering, Integration & Test and Business Development teams, to develop Fiery DFE Products. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of Fiery Product and deliver it with high quality and on time
  • Work collaboratively across team boundaries to achieve important corporate goals
  • Interact with our customers on need basis for requirement clarification
  • Bring innovation to help our customer
QualificationRequired
  • Hands-on programming experience in C/C++ on Linux/Windows
  • Experience in architecting and developing complex, high speed software using multi-core processors/FPGAs/ASICs, hardware device drivers, and packet switching
  • Experience in developing application and embedded software, protocol stacks, interfacing with custom hardware and hardware emulators
  • Hands on experience of Debugging tools (WinDbg, Visual studio Debugger, Wireshark etc.)
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, independently, and within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Experience in life cycle development for a product suite including architecture, design, development, integration, test, lab testing, field testing and customer deployments
  • Understanding of various development methodologies, including Waterfall and agile
  • B.E/M.S/MCA degree from a reputed Institute with 7+ years of experience in leading and managing product development
Highly Desired
  • Knowledge of Web technologies Node.JS/Python.
  • Experience with open source tool sets such as Clearcase, Git/Bitbucket and Jira and software test automation tools and techniques
  • Recent experience in the printing/networking industry
