We believe conversational computing represents the next evolution of how people get things done. It is as much a design problem as it is a technology problem. With this role, Haptik is looking for someone to lead this paradigm shift in consumption. You will be responsible for building Haptik s flagship consumer digital assistant reaching hundreds of millions of users. You should be a first principles thinker, someone who is obsessed with the cross between human-computer interaction, and leading this next wave of change. This is a senior role in the company reporting into the VP of Product and working closely with the Founders. Responsibilities Research, develop and implement the end to end roadmap for the Haptik digital assistant across text, voice and multiple Indian languages Drive integration across the device ecosystem of smartphones, speakers, TVs and any other relevant medium Responsible for running developer sprints in an Agile Continuous Integration environment Have a strong UX philosophy and work closely with the design team to develop user journeys along with intense A/ B testing processes Track progress of market specific product improvements and be a thought leader in the overall Conversational AI domain Have a deep understanding of the Haptik consumer and regularly interface with them to get product feedback Requirements 8-10 years of experience building Internet first consumer products for mass India Bachelors/ Master s Degree in Engineering from a Tier 1 institute like IIT, BIT, NIT, etc. or US/ UK Excellent communication skills a must, both written and verbal Experience working in startups or successful entrepreneurial adventures Strong problem solving and analytical skills Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment,
