Interaction with clients and employees at all levels in a cross cultural and dynamic work environment is required, thus a trainer needs to be knowledgeable, trustworthy and an expert, at not only his/her area of specialization but also possess communication skills, patience and analytical skills, among others.Knowledge, Skills & Ability:The following are key knowledge areas required for a training executive:1. Expert knowledge and expertise of the mortgage domain with experience in Origination UW life cycle2. Knowledge of Origination/Servicing documents3. Knowledge of training modes and methods4. Knowledge of program construction and development5. Knowledge of relevant mortgage business line6. Knowledge of Business, Policies and Practices7. Computer Skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, VisioThe following are key Skill and Ability areas required for a training executive:1. Leadership Skills Lead a team of individuals to effectively organize Training and measure Training effectiveness2. Mentoring Skills Create a supportive environment for two-way communication, provide constructive feedback and advice3. Written Communication Skills - Email Etiquette/ Program Construction/ Issue Resolution/Communication of Objectives, Decisions4. Verbal Communication Skills - Delivery of Process, Development Training, Conduct Effective Meetings, Engage with staff at all Levels5. Interpersonal Skills Liaising and working effectively with various people at various levels6. Presentation Skills Structure and Deliver Training using various Training aids, structure and design presentations based on Training needs, Prepare high level Training reports7. Ethics and Code: to be able to determine ethical and moral implications, actions of a situation, stringently follow them and ensure that teams assigned also adhere to8. Ability to learn and consistently improve on performance9. Ability to delegate Identifying skills and strengths of SMEs and assigning tasks to maximize output10. People Management Skills: to be able to handle various types of people effectively while achieving all set goals of task, project, process or client11. Conflict resolution: to be able to effectively resolve conflict12. Patience, Eye for Detail and high standards of excellence and achievementResponsibilities :The following are general responsibilities of training executive:1. To ensure that all employees from the process assigned to are provided with knowledge of Mortgage business practices, policies and procedures2. To design, create and deliver job specific training to all new employees3. To work with Subject Matter Experts to consistently improve new employee training material and procedures4. To monitor employee productivity and quality, and provide training when required5. To regularly plan and hold coaching and feedback sessions with employees6. To design, create and deliver development training programs7. To evaluate and measure training activities, effectiveness and publish reports periodically8. To participate/ spearhead projects- process, Business and Human Resources related9. To ensure the meeting of/ facilitate learning and development requirements for assigned teams10. To coordinate/ facilitate disciplinary action effectively as required11. To get effectively cross trained on various areas of the industry and become competent, as required by team and department strategy12. To effectively transition functions between locations as required by the ISGN KPO & IT business strategy13. To effectively communicate with internal and external clients and manage related challenges and conflictEducation Qualifications:1. HSC Mandatory2. Any graduationAdditional Requirements:1. Minimum of 2 years of work experience in mortgage industry2. Willingness to work in Night Shifts based on Client requirement3. Willingness to work on weekends based on client requirement
