Job Purpose (In a brief, specific one or two-sentence statement, answer the questions: Why does this position exist and What is it expected to accomplish )Support Head Bancassurance, Consumer Banking in driving the CBG India sales of Bancassurance Products. Responsibility for creating and building the business, comprising of Life Insurance, General Insurance and Health Insurance.To establish a strong DBS franchise in the local market through delivering the bank s bancassurance business vision and strategies embracing exceptional execution of revenue generation, insurance portfolio management, and service of DBS Customers towards their protection, long term savings and health cover needs. To establish a strong relationship with local authorities and ensure operational efficiency of Bancassurance -Consumer Banking Franchise, operational policy compliance and represent the bank to the external parties.   • Create the Bancassurance sales strategy and monitor for execution.
  • The achievement of Bancassurance financial targets
  • Financial metrics to track progress on Life and Non-Life business.
  • Fortifying the Bancassurance proposition covering products, and sales process.
  • The achievement of the targeted score of overall customer satisfaction rating for insurance.
  • Ensure internal and Regulatory compliance on Bancassurance by strict adherence to the prescribed sales process of the Bank.
  • Do joint sales calls to handhold and support high ticket insurance
  • Create new sales channels for distribution of insurance products
Required Experience
  • Overall experience of 12-15 years between Bancassurance, Banking products and distribution.
  • Jobholder should be well versed in Regulations on Bancassurance and Corporate Agency guidelines of the Insurance Regulator.
  • Good understanding in application of key principles of sales & leadership including motivational & interpersonal skills & problem solving.
  • Experience in sales and Distribution in a Bank and /or other financial services organisation would be an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
Education / Preferred QualificationsPostgraduate / MBA would be desirable, though not essential.,
