This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role Responsibilities Strategy Standard Chartered Bank s Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking (CCIB) division has embarked on an ambitious journey to revolutionize the digital banking by building a truly innovative corporate banking portal that competes not just with the Financial Institutions but also with the new breed of Fintech companies.Digital Channels & Data Analytics (DCDA) champions this vision and is responsible to drive the digitization agenda with our corporate and institutional clients. As Product Owner for Client Migrations & Deployment, you will need to think client and work with global stakeholders to deliver the vision.You will work with talented team members across CCIB Product Management, Technology, Client Experience & Engagement teams, Client implementation and Client Service partners, to manage the client experience in migrating from Straight2Bank Classic to Straight2Bank NextGen. You will work to evolve the migration processes and structure towards a more general deployment model, liaising between the Product Build teams and Regional Deployment teams to ensure client migrations and deployment happen in a standard and scalable way.Business You will work across all CCIB regions and engage regularly with DCDA regional leads to drive migration across 47 markets. You will continually challenge the status quo and look for improvements in how migration & deployment of our next generation digital channels solutions is executed globally.As the Product Owner you will lead and manage the key deliverables for migration and deployment of clients onto the next generation digital channel solutions for one of the products - Cash Management, Trade Finance, Securities Services, FX or Financial Markets. You will be supported to push the boundaries by bringing in new ideas to think innovatively about the client experience, working across our Corporate & Institutional Banking, Commercial Banking and Business Banking segments globally.Key Responsibilities include:
    • Plan and execute a migration & deployment roadmap, aligned to 90-day sprints. Leveraging feedback across regional DCDA teams as well as data driven insights on client usage and behaviour, you will ensure clients are able to seamlessly transition into our next generation Straight2Bank platform.
    • Pro-actively identify and manage risks and dependencies associated with the rollout of new digital channel solutions.
    • Quantitative and qualitative analysis of client migration performance and velocity for regular and responsive management reporting.
    • Engage actively with the product, implementation & client management, legal, compliance, technology, operations and sales teams to create awareness of the migration roadmap and encourage a participative attitude to elicit critical business requirements and ensure overall acceptance of the new process flows and the system functionalities.
    • Ensure project deliverables comply with Bank programme and project management policies and the highest standards of good governance are maintained. This will include reporting to senior management through formal committees, working with Technology, PMO and COO colleagues
    • Prioritize investment portfolio and resource activities to meet strategic objectives, ensuring resources and budget are aligned to applicable scorecard metrics.
    • Take responsibility for specific product areas as global subject matter expert on behalf of the team.
    • Maintain awareness of relevant trends and developments in the market, in client feedback and requests, in technology, and in the Bank s products and services. Continuously evaluate and benchmark the bank s digital capabilities to identify and priorities opportunities to grow volumes, revenue, and digital adoption
    • Maintain product capabilities information up-to-date and professionally documented for both internal and external audience, ensuring the available features and services are correctly suited to clients.
    • Review applicable internal policies and procedures to prevent gaps against risk governance framework.
    Processes
    • Responsible for designing, improving and delivering the Client Migration and Deployment process for digital channels
    People and Talent
    • Work closely with the stream leads and execute the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle covering conceptualization, business requirements, product solutions, meticulous quality checks, deployment and eventually, the customer migration phases of the revamped platform.
    • Build strong engagement with business stakeholders across product, sales, and coverage, technology and client service group to effectively communicate the strategic vision for digital channels, including becoming an evangelist to internal teams to further drive the adoption of digital solutions in Cash, Trade and Financial Markets
    Risk Management
    • Interpret and align with regulatory requirements for electronic channels, closely work with Compliance and Technology in terms of internet security, sanction check and prevention of money laundering
    • Ensure adherence to Product Governance and Operational Risk Framework and all relevant policies and procedures
    • Ensure proper check and balance in place according to laid down departmental operation instruction (DOI) when applicable, Control Sample Testing (CST) plans to minimize operational risk
    Governance
    • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

    Our Ideal Candidate
    • Required 8+ years experience with a proven track record of success in the Banking product management, product development or project management across Cash, Trade Finance, Security Services, Financial Markets
    • Adept in communicating the value of digital services, in championing the product range across the Bank.
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving and lateral thinking skills to understand complex client requirements, manage complex application functionality challenges and conflicting business demands.
    • Proven inter-personal skills to actively engage with multi-cultural teams across the globe in understanding client needs, training the frontline country staff, managing client queries and feedback
    • Understanding of technology with proven ability to translate technology possibilities and solutions to business / client usage opportunities.
    • Self-driven and highly motivated professional with a strong sense of ownership and a passion towards delivering high-quality client solutions and supporting ambitious business outcomes
    • Highly experienced in stakeholder management and working closely with global senior leaders, including business product heads, COOs and CIOs
    • Effective and positive written and verbal communications especially when acting as a liaison between departments, internal employees and clients
