This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesThis role will drive and innovate Solutions for Trade Finance incl. engagement with our Technology Partners, FinTech s, Innovation hubs and Third-Party Platforms.Strategy / Business

• Drive the selection of Fintech partners for digitizing Trade Finance
• Rationalise & Prioritise our Digital initiatives both internally and with our third-party partners
• Ensure optimal business Solution & Business Cases of new initiatives, incl.
  • New Third Party Platform Fitment / Alignment
  • Governance initiatives Use case
• Drive Tool and Vendor Selection (RFP)
• Channels e.g., Alignment & Validation of New Digital Channels, incl. Chatbot, Moxtra and Harmony Wave synchronization
• Automation / Robotics Efficiencies Solutions
• Innovation, R&D together with CPO, POs & Existing Squad teams

Business

• CCIB moved to the New Ways of Working and the delivery is managed in squads lead by the Product Owner and/or augmented by Subject Matter Expert, Business Analysts, Developers, and testers
• Convert initiatives into User Stories & deliver against targets
• Take lead in coordinating and work with key stakeholders in identifying and understanding business requirements and documenting these for system development.
• Build a strong level of engagement with all stakeholders for the business. Co-ordinate with delivery work streams to develop optimal solutions
• Identify issues and risks and ensure that they are recorded, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.
• Adhere to audit & governance requirements for the end to end process of enhancement and deployment of system capabilities
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc
• Management of backlog for Data & Digital Solution; incl. prioritization preparation, review of user stories, synchronization with LuW Forum

• Risk and Audit Continuous management of the Trade Application System risk
• Proactively identify issues and actions
• Monitor and remediate issues and actions from audits
• Awareness of the regulatory requirements and ensuring these are catered for in the platform design

Our Ideal Candidate

• Product Owner Certification
• Quantexa Certification

Academic & Professional

• Very good understanding of Trade Finance domain
• Experience in working in an agile environment, especially as a Product Owner
• Project Management & Program Management Experience
• 5+ years of professional industry experience in the field of channel applications, digitization and third party platforms
• Good understanding of API, Cyber Securities, Block Chain & Cloud Computing is beneficial

• Thorough experience in detailing stories requirement and acceptance criteria
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• This role will require someone who has successfully undertaken project management experience across multiple geographies, cultures, internal teams and external vendors to meet business needs within defined schedule and quality targets.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Good understanding of client requirements in the Transaction Banking area, and specifically in the Trade Finance & Cash space.
• Experience within a large-scale technology environment will be a benefit
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
