Project Coordinator - Agribusiness An exciting opportunity has arisen at Peterson Projects and Solutions in Mumbai, India for Project Co- ordinator - AGRIBUSINESS. As a Project Co- ordinator- Agribusiness, you will be responsible to support regional Peterson team to launch and deliver technical organic and sustainable programs related consultancy, agroforestry, social and environmental services and programs including system design, risks analysis, sustainability roadmaps and carbon mapping. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of the agriculture industry. Are you committed to integrity, quality, and a self- driven, systematic, service- oriented person and do you want to be part of our international network Then we are looking for you!Tasks and responsibilities Write proposal for technical services Identify and support building new relationships with commercial clients, international donors and NGO communities Review of documents and suggest improvements Consultancy (on- site and off- site) Support the launch of commercial platforms and services. Develop quarterly budgets and projections in MS Excel Support and coordination with all Peterson Global offices as and when required Maintaining good relation with the clients Keeping abreast of developments, issues and legislative changes pertaining to agriculture and related sectors Marketing and Business Development activities Extensive travel (up to 15- 20 days in a month) across India Requirements Graduate in Agriculture Postgraduate in Agriculture would be advantageous Minimum experience of 2 years in agriculture or related industry Experience and knowledge of sustainable and organic farming certification schemes would be an added advantage Knowledge of commercial agribusiness or environmental services Good command of English: in speech and in writing Excellent proposal writing, presentation skills Resourceful, fast learner with strong interpersonal skills; Proficiency with MS Office Willingness to travel extensively Personality Traits Independent attitude towards the job Accurate in observations and reporting Systematic and analytical way of working Aimed at serving clients and team spirited Our Company Peterson Projects and Solutions is the advisory division providing pragmatic and hands- on solutions to your challenges.
